Myka Relocate is a band that was founded in 2007, later based in Houston, Texas. The Young Souls is an album created by this band in 2015. If you’re into lyrics that have deep meanings, like metal, or are finding new music, this album and/or band is for you.

From inspection of the lyrics from Damage, the meaning of this song could either mean he (Lead singer Micheal Swank) has had hurt from religion or had experienced a failed relationship.
In the song Only Steps Away, Micheal appears to be describing the feelings and experience of someone’s presence as a few of the lyrics says, “I believe you can stop my skies from turning into gray. Wish the sound of your voice would stay because it feels like I am only steps away.”
Nerve, the third popular song in the album The Young Souls, comes across as Micheal exposing the abuse of another. He points out that the subject has abused people because others have felt sorry for them. He appears to have strong emotions for the individual he is singing about as he says, “You’re a disaster. You know you don’t deserve what you’re after.”

Author’s Opinion
I discovered Myka Relocate through their song Bring You Home. Ever since, I have not gone back. All of their songs seem to hold deep meaning and strong emotions and if you’re anything like me, you’ll be obsessed. Currently, I specifically favor their songs Cold Hearts, Rescue Me, The Company You Keep and The Young Souls.
This band puts on an image that has you feeling deep into your soul that they care for others. A great example of this is their song Cold Hearts.
